Janessa is a yogi and an ultra runner. She has been teaching yoga for 6 years and running since a child. She has used both to work through burnout/PTSD, breakups, fear and has learned through the trail and the mat that patience, breath, and courage are the cornerstones of life. She has led a life of saying “yes” to big challenges and built a practice to help others do the same
As a psych student at Harvard and long time athlete her classes integrate sports specific alignment and positive psychology techniques to help her students develop internal and external resilience. This summer she is training for (and running) the Elkhorn Crest 52miler and the Bizz Johnson 50k. When she’s not taking herself too seriously she enjoys long walks on the beach, sunsets….
Her carefully designed courses are built to generate a core of resilience to help all levels and varieties of adventurers prepare, perform, and repair. She believes the world needs us to be our strongest selves. She wants to help you prepare yourself.
