This course is designed to be physically challenging, to increase not only physical strength and endurance but to bring awareness to our mental responses and habits. A crucible: a transformative experience through which an individual comes to a new or altered sense of identity. By creating a “safe” challenge on our mat we can begin to investigate those patterns of self-talk that help us rise to the challenge with or fall into avoidance coping. Integrating the science of mindfulness, challenging asana, and journaling you will learn tools to help you meet any challenge, on or off the mat.
In a series of settings, Janessa will learn to understand you. From this, together you will create a personalised wellness program designed to build physical and mental resiliency and become better at stress and better able to conquer whatever mountain your climbing.
